About Us
Toys are a vitally important element of any childhood, stimulating both physical skills and helping to develop creative imaginations. Our main aim is to enable children to create their own magical wooden wonderland and at the same time to begin to understand the natural, environmentally-friendly appeal of wooden toys. A great deal of time goes into choosing our suppliers and selecting the most suitable products - using a stringent criteria of high quality, environmental sustainability, value for money, innovative design and safety. All of our products comply with the European EN71 Toy Safety Regulations. EN71 covers many topics including toxicity, finger traps, small parts, sharp edges and splinters etc.
Wooden Wonderland was started because we believe that wooden toys have many advantages over their plastic rivals. Quite simply, our products are less harmful on the environment, offer greater durability and value for money, and have a superior finish and feel to the design.
At Wooden Wonderland, we acknowledge the sad fact that some children are not fortunate enough to own or enjoy toys. For this reason, we have decided from the start to support a variety of children's charities across the UK. 1% of every purchase that our customers make from Wooden Wonderland goes to supporting charities such as Barnardo's, the NSPCC and Children in Need.
